Ninaì Solo: "Time Space"
Ninaì - vocals and piano
"We're closer than we think. Every sound, every person, every moment is an opportunity.
Change the frequency. Experiment. Explore. Trust the unknown."
Soulmetry is an interdisciplinary musical trilogy conceived between Italy and Japan and
released by I Low You (ILU) Records.
It explores music as a living, evolving organism: constantly transformed through presence, intuition, and human connection.
Alongside the collective experience of Soulmetry: Living Room Session, recorded live
in a single uninterrupted take,
Soulmetry - Time Space reveals the project's most intimate dimension.
A solo performance for piano, synthesizers, and voice, distilling the music to its essential core.
Rather than presenting a fixed repertoire, Ninaì inhabits the music.
The piano is the place where sound comes into being, inviting the audience to witness its creation.
"Breath is the bridge between the soul and the world. The first rhythm we ever knew. This is the frequency we tune into. This is Unity."
Ninaì Soulmetry: Sonic Zone (Quintet to Duo)
Ninaì - vocals, synth and piano
Street Casabrasa - turntables
Emanuele Marsico - trumpet
Walter Guabello - electric bass
Andrea Beccaro - drums
"Perhaps we are all improvising our lives, following a pulse older than words, older than
music: our heartbeat. A rhythm that reminds us we have never truly been separate."
Soulmetry - Sonic Zone is the collective expression of the project, an ensemble that expands
from duo to quintet while remaining rooted in the same philosophy of openness, trust, and radical listening.
The performance unfolds as an organic sonic ecosystem where composed material and spontaneous
interaction coexist effortlessly. Nothing is predetermined, and the chemistry between the
performers becomes the music itself, turning every concert into a singular act of collective creation.

Intervista alla poliedrica artista (interview in italian)
biography and press
Born in Northern Italy, Ninaì is an Italian pianist, vocalist, and composer of Peruvian and
Chinese descent. Raised in a family of artists, she grew up in an environment where music,
visual arts, and improvisation were part of everyday life.
This early relationship with
artistic expression shaped a distinctive musical language, constantly evolving between jazz,
contemporary music, world traditions, and echoes of the classical repertoire.
Her sound moves between nu-jazz, ambient textures, hip-hop, and world music, while remaining
rooted in a constant exploration of different artistic languages. She transforms the voice
into a primordial instrument, a conduit to a shared consciousness inspired by the cycles of nature.
Following her debut album Musica in Testa (2020), Ninaì collaborated with artists from the
contemporary and bossa nova scenes before releasing the Ep Dream Baby Dream, a further step
in her ongoing exploration of sound and expression.
This artistic journey led to Soulmetry, a three-part recording project produced by Flavio
Ferri and released by Tokyo-based I Low You Records (ILU Records). Conceived between Italy
and Japan, Soulmetry explores music as a living organism, continuously transformed through
presence, intuition, improvisation, and human connection.
Her latest release: "Soulmetry Living Room Session" (May 2026) expands this artistic universe
through intimate lo-fi solo piano recordings, creating a bridge between the essential
language of her solo compositions and the expansive energy of her live ensemble performances.
